Caribou Hunt 2

The guys sit down for a final recap of Franks trip up to Alaska to hunt for Caribou. Bill Vanderheyden, co-founder and lead engineer of Ironwill Broadheads joins in with Aron, Isaac Aleman, and Frank to add his recount of the story.
They touch on the highlights of the trip up to the barren ground of Alaska, and the details of getting a caribou on the ground. Bill was the only guy to gut it out the whole time with a bow in his hands. He talks about the struggles of getting close to the animals.

Nikki Selby

The guys have a great chat with Nikki Selby, a veteran of the US Navy and a lady looking to get into hunting. Lots of interesting topics covered in todays episode mostly centered around the difficulties of newbies getting into the world of hunting. It can be especially difficult for women to find mentors and hunting partners in the community.

Chris Parrino

On the podcast today Aron is joined by the legendary Chris Parrino. Chris has been doing the traditional archery game for longer than most of us have been in the woods. They have a great chat with lots of great stories and the origins of Chris's hunting skills.
Chris is one of the few people that will and can keep Aron humble we it comes to flinging trad flags down range. With great discussions like what's more important; being a better shot or being a better hunter. This episode will give you plenty to think about for your upcoming hunts.

Justin Davis

Justin Davis sits down with Aron today and they talk about his memories of becoming the youngest person ever to take the Colorado Big 9. Bighorn Sheep, Antelope, Mountain Goat, Moose, Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, Black Bear, Mountain Lion, and Elk all with a bow and before the age of 40, an incredible feat.

Tony Trietch

Tony Trietch calls in today to have a conversation with Aron and Frank. Tony is one of the more successful men to hunt the American West, he has designed his life to hunt and be in the mountains more.
Since 2012 he has been roaming the west, state-to-state from September to November, hunting just about everything North America has to offer. Frank and Aron talk about his efforts in the woods, animals he's hunted and what gear is actually important in the backcountry. Hitting on what it takes to be a successful hunter in the west, it's not often what you take but rather how you perform in the field.

Lucas with The Meat Cleaver

What do you do with your animal once you've got'em out of the field? Do-it-yourself kinda guy or gal, painstakingly cutting up your quarry? Is it a whole family affair where all the aunts and uncles show up with six-packs and sharp knives? 2021 Colorado Elk
